On Sunday 28th of July 2024, a delegation from the World Lebanese Cultural Union participated in a ceremony organised by the Australian Lebanese Sports Youth Club to celebrate Lebanese Army Day. Led by the President of the GRC and New Zealand President Antoine Karam and Mrs Karam.
He was joined by President Rami Eid of the Victoria State Council and Mrs Eid, Vice President Muhammad Al-Mustafa, media official Mr Munif Mitri and Mrs Mitri, as well as several other members.
The event was attended by a large crowd, including many members and representatives from the Lebanese political parties, associations, and clubs. During the ceremony, the Australian Lebanese Sports Youth Club president, Mr Elias Farah was presented with the Army Martyrs’ Archive, which was then placed in a dedicated shrine.
